Orangestorm Giga Profile for Orca Slicer

I got an orangestorm Giga and I am having way too much fun with this machine. So Elegoo uses a modified Cura slicer for their printer. But it sucks. REally bad. I went ahead and started a github dedicated to creating a system profile for Orca Slicer and the Orangestorm Giga.

It’s been working really well for me so far and for others that are using it. You will need to modify your printer.cfg file in klipper in order to use this properly. If you’re interested, take a look at the project here: TNTBA/OrangeStorm-Giga-Profile-for-Orca (github.com)

Happy Printing!

Oh, in other news – i am currently working on my first big mod for the Orangestorm giga. Stay tuned but here’s a preview:

Can you guess what I’m making?

  1. Looks like maybe a top-center spool holder to avoid filament tension through the runout sensor on very tall prints. 🙂
